Resistance and Durability
Ascale Porcelain, is often used for interior and exterior wall cladding as it is extremely durable. Exterior cladding requires a high level of weather resistances, from intense heat and radiation from the sun to hard frosts in the middle of winter. Non Porous Surface

Porcelain Worktop Colours
Porcelain colours are available as large-format sintered stone slabs and are produced using the latest cutting-edge technologies and experience in manufacture.
Colour collections that are designed to evoke feelings of comfort and space are essential in living areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and entrance areas.
Ascale Worktop Surface Colours
A porcelain that is produced using 100% natural minerals, 70% of which are recycled. Ascale Colours boast high resistances, it is non-porous and hygenically sound

Porcelain Brands
There are number of porcelain / ceramic slab manufactures, popular brand names include Neolith, Xtone and Laminam. There are also many are well known manufactures of quartz materials that also have their own range/brands of porcelain such as Dekton by cosentino.
Porcelain Maintenance & Care
A porcelain surface that is easy to clean is highly desired for floor surfaces and cladding, its non-porous surface allows spills to be easily mopped up with warm soapy water without leaving difficult to remove residue.
Porcelain Maintenance Overview
Despite porcelain materials being incredibly durable and stain-resistant, they still require routine care & maintenance. The level of maintenance required will depend on the porcelain application, for example flooring in a busy walkway to cladded walls in a shower enclosure.

Care & Maintenance

- Clean grout lines with a nylon brush and non-acidic cleaner
- Rinse thoroughly and dry to avoid water marks

Porcelain is available in 20mm and 30mm thicknesses or slimmer profiles, such as thin 12mm porcelain worktops for a contemporary minimilist designs and 6mm porcelain for cladding panels in a bathroom.
